Job Summary

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Project Manager III for our client partner. This position is a Project Manager in the Family and Economic Support Technical Services (FESTS) section supporting child support systems. Project duties will include project management/coordination, direction, guidance and consultation of multiple projects using waterfall, agile and hybrid agile methodologies. Project duties will also include PMO support tasks such as managing action items and backlog, tracking risks and issues, preparing instructions, preparing meeting agendas and minutes, preparing and managing communication plans, assisting with process improvements, tracking resource allocation, preparing status reports, managing work plans, and serving as a liaison between business and technical partners. Understands business and technical objectives of a project and works with project team and sponsor. Documents risks and develops mitigation plans. Identifies, tracks, and ensures resolution of issues and removal of barriers. This position is currently remote. However, position status is subject to change. Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense.

  • Experience with creation of detailed workplans using automated tools - 15 years
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills - 15 years
  • Experience in Technical Writing and Documentation - 12 years
  • Application Development and Support – all phases of the systems development life cycle – supporting a CICS/DB2/COBOL/SAS/JCL
  • Mainframe Systems - 8 years
  • MS Product experience (Excel, Outlook, Project, Word) - 15 years
  • Financial and Case Management Child Support Enforcement: Systems development and maintenance experience - 8 years
  • Experience completing Unit/Development Testing, Systems Testing, and Supporting User Acceptance Testing - 15 years
  • Experience using SQL, SPUFI, Platinum, File Manager, Debugger, QMF Tools or equivalent - 10 years
  • Experience working with a business customer to document requirements, analysis, and design deliverables - 15 years
  • Use of Changeman, CNTL-M, Cherwell, or similar tracking mechanism in performing software management activities - 10 years
  • Knowledge and experience with child support system certification - 5 years
  • Experience executing and documenting the Test Deck for IV-D system Certification - 2 years
