Job Summary

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Project Manager for our client partner. The Advanced technology Project Manager is responsible for managing advanced development technology development projects to meet desired technology & business outcomes by coordinating, planning, monitoring, and reporting on projects at all stages of the product development lifecycle.

  • Provide ownership of projects of varying levels of complexity.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, goals, resources, risks, documentation, and all details related to successful project execution.
  • Facilitate project meetings focused on removing barriers and accomplishing desired project outcomes.
  • Coordinate project team execution through Innovation process and be the team expert on the deliverables necessary to move smoothly through the stage gate process.
  • Coordinate with all parts of the cross-functional development team including suppliers, design engineering, marketing, manufacturing, sourcing, test, quality assurance and outside resources to achieve project goals.
  • Assist in establishing advanced development processes and methodologies to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet high-quality standards and leadership expectations using appropriate tools.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Elevate issues that cannot be resolved at the project level and provide potential paths to resolution.
  • Present clear and concise project status to management, including executive team.

Desired requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of project management experience managing cross functional technical development efforts from inception through delivery.
  • Experience with Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Ability to manage project budgets, timelines, goals, resources, risks, documentation, and all details related to achieving desired business outcomes from projects.
  • Experience leading change and leveraging organizational change management techniques.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
  • Experience influencing decision makers and communicating with leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, professional social skills, as well as organizational and project planning skills are essential.
  • Very effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
  • Ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
