Beacon Technologies is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager - Audit and Compliance for our client partner. As an Enterprise IT Project/Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with senior leadership, IT teams, and business stakeholders to define program objectives, oversee project execution, and facilitate change management processes. The program will implement Audit and Compliance capabilities for IT General controls (SOX, Non-SOX, Cloud Security etc.).

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, scoping, execution, and reporting of regulatory compliance audits based on identified risks.
• Understand and identify the full range of risks related to processes, regulatory compliance, organization, policy, and technology.
• Ensure audit issues are well-defined, root causes are identified, and recommendations for improved controls and processes are communicated to management.
• Working closely with IT Portfolio Lead, develop a detailed project plan including schedule, resource, communication & financial management plan.
• Build relationship and required cadence to work closely with internal management, technical teams, business, and auditors regarding audit scope, status, and findings.
• Prepare and drive status reports, management, and executive updates with high quality of accuracy and detailed content in a timely manner.
• Responsible for meeting time and staffing budgets for assigned audits.
• Prepare detailed plan for each workstream execution and ensure deliverables and objectives met for each workstream.
• Assess efficiency of performance of the activities reviewed.
• Ensure work papers submitted on time for all audits with accuracy & timelines.
• Manage a portfolio of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Adhere to Departmental policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of project/program management experience with a proven track record of successful IT program delivery.
• 7+ years of related auditing/audit remediation experience.
• Thorough understanding of various audit requirements and standards to comply with SOX and Non-SOX audit.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of program and project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Scrum).
• Experience in change management and the ability to drive organizational transformation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
• Experience in managing Financials / Project Budgets $3-10M+.
• Relevant financial services industry knowledge (Regulatory Compliance & Operations).
