Job Summary

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Global Procurement Analyst for our client partner. The Global Procurement Logistics team drives the procurement of goods and services needed to support our client’s global operations.

The Land and Air Freight Rate Global Procurement Analyst will be assigned to Land and Air Freight Global Visibility projects to ensure positive outcomes of assigned project tasks. This includes assisting in or directly managing the review of test cases, execution of test cases, entering and maintaining annual Land rate and Air Freight spot rate information in platform, and validating rate information.

Key Qualifications and Experience needed for success:

  • Experience of working with Business Information Systems - Knowledge/experience with Oracle and Coupa systems a plus.
  • Proficient in Power Point & Excel.
  • Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals and Procure to Pay processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of the workforce, including senior leadership and executive management.
  • Strong project management skills, experience in managing multiple projects at one time.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with positive, customer-focus approach in combination with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, fast-paced, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Prefer Infor Nexus and Jira experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with business or supply chain management preferred, with a minimum of 1 year of procurement/supply chain experience or related field or combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete training in visibility platform for Land and Air Freight.
  • Review visibility platform UAT test scripts, run test scripts and provide feedback to project team in Jira.
  • Annually enter in land rate information as outcome from annual RFP.
  • Work directly with team members to obtain Air Freight spot quotes and after approvals, enter and validate Air Freight spot rates in system in a timely manner.
  • Assist in resolving issues with data entry pertaining to air freight spot rates and annual land rates.
  • Working with project team to identify system issues with Air Freight spot rate and annual land rate data entry screens in visibility platform.
  • Manage assigned projects assigned by OTR and Air Freight Category Sr Manager.

The Ocean Rate Global Procurement Analyst will be assigned to Ocean and Drayage Global Visibility projects to ensure positive outcomes of assigned project tasks. This includes assisting in or directly managing the review of test cases, execution of test cases, entering and maintaining Ocean spot rate and annual drayage rate information in platform, and validating rate information.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete training in visibility platform for Ocean and Drayage.
  • Review visibility platform UAT test scripts, run test scripts and provide feedback to project team in Jira.
  • Work directly with team members to obtain Ocean spot quotes and after approvals, enter and validate spot rates in system in timely manner.
  • Enter in annual drayage rate data for US and Canada.
  • Assist in resolving issues with data entry pertaining to ocean spot rates.
  • Working with project team to identify system issues with ocean spot rate data entry screens in visibility platform.
  • Manage assigned projects assigned by Ocean and Drayage category manager.
