Job Summary

Beacon Technologies is seeking a Data Management Technician for our client partner. This will be an onsite position at the Roseville, MN location. The Data Management Technician supports the Data Management team (DMT) members with the processing of customer data files to produce electronic and physical documentation for the prepaid card production teams. DMT is a small, collaborative group tasked with handling sensitive customer data using a well-defined set of processes and procedures and a diverse set of tools, including standard office applications as well as other specialized applications. The job requires attention to detail, assiduousness, eagerness to learn, competency with Windows applications, and ability to understand and help improve data management practices.

  • Interpret and understand customer data specifications and requirements.
  • Use MS Office and other specialize applications to generate production documents.
  • Collect and organize documentation into job folders for production.
  • Follow departmental procedures and checklists for all projects.
  • Meet daily work deadlines and commitments.
  • Process incoming customer data, store it in relevant job folders on network, and email reports to customer account managers.
  • Follow compliance policies, including data encryption and timely removal of dated data files.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of all internal data software and utilities functions.
  • Strive to improve the quality of the DMT department’s work by contributing ideas for improving processes and procedures.
  • Perform routine maintenance of all equipment in the DMT department.
  • Be attentive to training opportunities to increase skill level and knowledge of DMT and Prepaid processes.
  • Work closely with DMT staff and other departments as needed on designs, processes, resources, and documentation.
  • Comply with all written policies and procedures regarding data receipt, verification, storage, security, and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • Data processing experience desired.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Must be organized.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and propose solutions.
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities independently.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Solid communication skills both verbally and written
  • Superior customer service and a consistently positive attitude.
